We visited the Fundación PRODIS's center in Madrid

Fundación PRODIS is a foundation that aims to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, promoting their full inclusion in society.

It delivers training, educational, cultural, sports and leisure activities, giving special support and care to children and young people belonging to the most disadvantaged population groups. It also conducts educational programs adapted to their needs and ways of learning and, through its training and employment centers, facilitates their integration into the labor market.

We went to meet the team in person to assess, jointly with them, different ways in which the Fundación Amara NextGen can collaborate. During our visit we were shown around the facilities and had access to the classrooms to learn firsthand about all the activities they carry out in each of their programs.

In the afternoon, we were invited to attend the graduation ceremony of the 16th graduating class of its Promentor university program at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where the students received their certificates and were able to celebrate the results of their efforts with their families, friends and teachers.
